Optical Director - Full Time
The Optical Director directs and oversees the retail functions of the optical and contact lens departments, and optical inventory. The Optical Director maintains a high performing retail sales operation to achieve sales and profit objectives while maintaining excellent quality. The Optical Director reports to the Executive Director. The Optical Director supervises the Optical Manager, Contact Lens Technicians, and the Satellite Optical Operations Manager.
Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in health or business administration; a minimum five years related experience in healthcare or retail management; and ABO certification. Must have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills and be able to lead a team to success.
Satellite Optical Operations Manager - Full Time
The Satellite Optical Operations Manager is responsible for the optical operations at all L.O. Eye Care offices, excluding Coolidge Rd. The Satellite Optical Manager reports to the Optical Director.
Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in health or business administration; a minimum two years related experience in healthcare or retail management; and a minimum two years supervisory experience. Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to multitask. Previous optical experience desired, and a strong background in customer service and/or sales is desired.
Optometrist - Battle Creek Location
L.O. Eye Care is seeking a full time or part time optometrist to join our growing Battle Creek location. We are a large group eye care practice that includes 16 ophthalmologists and 11 optometrists at 12 locations throughout mid-Michigan. In addition, we have a large, successful optical and contact lens business. Our Battle Creek office includes two full time ophthalmologists and a fully trained clinical and optical team that will help to make a successful transition for the new optometrist.

Patient Coordinator - Fowlerville Location
The Fowlerville office is seeking a full time receptionist (36 hours). Schedule consists of one late shift during the week (Monday), with one half day on Saturday per month (when Doctor is present). Interested candidates must be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, be self motivated, and possess excellent customer service skills. Experience with NextGen software preferred. L.O. Eye Care is seeking a full-time ophthalmic assistant in our Okemos location. Interested candidates must show leadership qualities, organizational and time management skills, a positive attitude, dependability, and the ability to type 50 wpm.
Duties and responsibilities to include greeting and preparing patients for examination, performing specialized ophthalmic tests, and demonstrate the ability to cooperate with all staff. On the job training skills provided. Knowledge and previous related experience with electronic health records and HIPAA regulations desired.
