- Wash your hands with soap and water thoroughly before handling your glasses
- Run warm water over your frames and lenses
- Use a mild anti-bacterial or dishwashing liquid soap and lather your glasses for 20 seconds or more
- Rinse wth warm water and let it either air dry and dry with a clean microfiber cloth
In between cleaning, avoid touching and rubbing them with your hands as much as possible. Wearing your glasses can add another layer of protection by sheilding your eyes from infected respiratory droplets, but they don't provide 100% security. It is important to maintain healthy habits by continuing to wash your hands frequently and taking social distancing measures such as staying at least 6 ft. away from another person.
