L.O. Eye Care is keeping you safe
Maintaining your eye health is important for your overall health and wellness. COVID-19 has changed our world and L.O. Eye Care has adapted to these changes to keep you and our staff safe.
Screening Everyone who Enters Our Facilities
L.O. Eye care is screening all patients, visitors and staff for signs or symptoms of COVID-19 before proceeding into our facilities. This includes answering any questions and prohibiting anyone from entering if they are ill.
Personal Protection
All patients, visitors, and staff members must wear a face mask or covering inside our facilities at all times. No exceptions. Your face mask or covering must also cover both your nose and mouth completely. Our reception, optical and clinical staff may wear additional protective equipment to keep patients and themselves safe when providing care. If visitors do not have a mask or face covering, we will provide one for them or ask them to reschedule.
Visitor Restrictions
No visitors are allowed inside the building unless the patient is in need of assistance or is a minor. If a visitor must accompany you to your appointment, they must wear a face covering at all times.
Social Distancing Measures
L.O. Eye Care is limiting the number of patients in our facilities by modifying our schedules, and at times, utilizing a virtual waiting room by asking patients to wait in their vehicles until they are ready to see them. We have implemented social distancing signage, spaced out seating, and incorporated sneeze guards and other protection in heavily trafficked areas.
Additional Cleaning and Sanitizing
We've added strict processes to enhance our sanitization protocols. This includes frequently wiping down surfaces and common areas, disinfecting eyewear and frames after any contact, and increased hand hygiene protocols.
Optical Services
Appointments are available for new eye wear and repairs. Curbside delivery for eyeglasses and contact lens orders are also available.
Telemedicine- Virtual Visits
L.O. Eye Care is now offering telemedicine- vitual visit options for our patients with certain vision problems and concerns. This option gives our patients the personalized care they know and expect from the safety of their home.
