Dr. Holmes completed her undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Michigan College of Optometry, Big Rapids and became Board Certified in Optometry in 2014. Dr. Holmes has been married for 24 years and has one daughter and one cat. She loves to do volunteer work with her local Lions Club and is on the board of several organizations, including Michigan Foundation for Vision Awareness. For recreation, Dr. Holmes loves to travel, downhill ski, and tap dance.

My entire experience was wonderful. Dr. Holmes is very thorough and explains things in a way that is very easy to understand. She gives tips to improve eye care, and she has a very kind personality. The people who help pick out the glasses are incredibly knowledgeable and patiently help you through the entire process of picking out just what you want to figuring out the cost of all of your options. This is my second year going, and I am very happy. I will return next year.

I saw Dr. Holmes for pain in my left eye. She quickly figured out the cause and it felt a lot better immediately. She advised eyedrops for two days for the abrasion my eye endured. I am grateful for her gentle manner and expertise.

Dr. Holmes has been my ophthalmologist for years. She was always good. Now that I have Glaucoma and slow growing cataracts, I appreciate her even more. A drug I am taking short-term for a non-eye-related problem has been affecting my eyesight. She did some tests and assured me that it's safe to continue with this drug treatment. It is important to have faith in the doctor who's guarding your eyesight.
