Ophthalmic Assistant, Grand Ledge - Full Time

L.O. Eye Care is seeking a full-time ophthalmic assistant in our Grand Ledge location.  Interested candidates must show leadership qualities, organizational and time management skills, a positive attitude, dependability, and the ability to type 50 wpm. Duties and responsibilities to include greeting and preparing patients for examination, performing specialized ophthalmic tests, and demonstrate the ability to cooperate with all staff.  On the job training skills provided. Knowledge and previous related experience with electronic health records and HIPAA regulations desired. Patient Coordinator, Okemos/Float - Full Time

Optician, Fowlerville office - Full Time

L.O. Eye Care is seeking a motivated, professional sales person with excellent customer service skills to sell and dispense eyewear in our Fowlerville office.  Candidate must be willing to travel to other surrounding locations.  One year of retail sales experience required, optical experience preferred.  This is a full time position, Monday – Friday with alternating Saturday morning shifts per month.  We offer a competitive salary, including strong sales incentives.  Benefits include profit sharing, 401(k), health, vision, dental, life and disability. Please submit an employment application to apply for this position.

 

Certified Professional Coder, Grand Ledge office - Full Time

Open position in the Billing Department, reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager. This individual will have a current knowledge of Medicare LCD’s and payer guidelines, assist insurance specialists, and patient account specialists.  Will review codes on patient encounters, ICD-9-CM (ICD-10 CM) and CPT coding classifications.  Experience in coding background, certification training and composing claim appeals required.  Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential strongly desired.  CPC(A) acceptable with strong billing A/R experience.
